Silky Dogwood

The silky dogwood (Cornus amomum) is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub known for its blue-tinged berries, creamy white summer flower clusters, and reddish to purplish stems that add year-round interest. It grows best in moist, fertile, well-drained soils, especially along streams, wetlands, and lowlands, and thrives in full sun to partial shade while tolerating periodic flooding.
