Winona County SWCD Tree Sale Criteria
Updated: November 2023
- All trees and shrubs are bare root stock, number of plants per bundle are approximate.
Every effort is taken to provide quality stock. Once the trees and shrubs leave Winona County SWCD, no guarantees of any kind are made due to numerous variables (handling, site preparation, soil types, chemicals, planting methods, soil moisture, maintenance, etc.) which are beyond our control and prevents us from offering any warranty or guarantee on the trees and shrubs.
Winona County SWCD tree program was developed to provide landowners with an affordable and convenient way to purchase trees and shrubs for conservation purposes, such as windbreaks, shelterbelts, living snow fences, reforestation and wildlife habitat.
Winona County SWCD does not sell non-native invasive trees/shrubs or those with a high susceptibility to disease.
Tree ordering begins on January 1st. Orders are then accepted until trees and shrubs are sold out.
- Payment in full is required with all orders.
- Trees and shrubs will be available for pick up late April to early May. A notice of the exact days and times will be sent prior to handout.
All sales are final.
